Wellingtons Ultimate Motorsport venue. With over 50 years of history packed into the dirt oval the Wellington Family Speedway is the capital's home of motorsport. Being a club-run track the entire venue and its meetings are run by a small team of volunteers elected from the club members each season. Nestled into the top of the valley north of Upper Hutt the track plays host to some of the best drivers in the country and has been voted Best Speedway Track in New Zealand by the NZ Dirt Track Racing Magazine for 2017/18 and 2018/19.
